SLEEPING BEAUTY

There’s a sense of calmness after the wind whipped the freshly fallen snow into drifts across the gravel pit back home in Radville.  The landscape has a sense of its own winter beauty now that the wind has gone to sleep for the time being.

The contrast of all the dark hues of the fence post, trees and building against the shadows created by the drifts have created this “Sleeping Beauty”.
