A Harvest of Bottles
There was a time when for many kids, their first opportunity of becoming an entrepreneur was going out and picking bottles from the ditches along the side of the roads. It was a time when the pennies added up quickly especially in the fall after a summer of folks tossing their empties out the windows of their vehicles. The best part of this adventure for these two siblings was sharing the profits and then deciding where they were going to each invest their new funds (usually at the candy store).
