You have to see this, to believe it!
-Wood is called buckeye burl. This is wood harvested from the root ball of
the buckeye tree, it’s very hard to process as it’s usually full of dirt and
rocks, so a lot of time and care is taken in the preparation of the wood.
-All of the coloring and pattern in the wood is natural. Buckeye burl is
prized by instrument makers, and it is used in some of the finest guitars in
the world.
-The table was cut and flattened on a cnc, so the oval shape is as close to
perfect as possible
-The table top is finished with six coats of a water based finsh and topped
with a ceramic coating for durability.
-The base is powdercoated steel, and has adjustable levelling feet
-From start to finish, each table takes approximately 3 months, and I use
the best wood that I can find from around the world.
