FEBRUARY – A TIME FOR WINTER FUN
“February can seem to be the longest month, even though it has the least number of days. Short hours of sunshine mean getting on the school bus in the morning to darkness and coming home in the darkness. Folks tire of the cold and snowstorms that often leave them housebound. One can end up with a case of “winter doldrums”. The best cure for this is to go out for the weekend ice fishing, cross-country skiing or snowmobiling on a poker derby.”
