Canola Fields forever III
The abundance of yellow fields in the fall since canola has become one of the prairies most popular crop in the last few years has created an endless subject matter for paintings that have become my favourite to paint. With a few of the old steel bins added in, the composition is what you would see along any dirt road. I recently just had a farmer convinced that it was his fields I had painted – which it wasn’t but it was fun to see how the painting connected with him.
