ACROSS THE SLOUGH

In North America, “slough” may refer to a side-channel from or feeding a river, or an inlet or natural channel only sporadically filled with water. Sloughs are ecologically important as they are a part of an endangered environment; our wetlands.

It was a common scene around any farmland or even close to a farm yard.  But it’s not a term heard often as sloughs are disappearing as they  are being turned to cultivated land.

“Across the Slough” can have two meanings in this scene: the fresh falling snow shows the tracks left behind across the slough or the view across the slough to the hills beyond.

Canvas Giclées are available in 10″ x 20″, 12″ x 24″ or 18″ x 36″ image size and are only available framed.

Watercolour Giclées are available in 10″ x 20″, 12″ x 24″ or 18″ x 36″ image size and are only available framed.

The price is based on the size of the giclée and the frame chosen.
