4TH AVENUE BRIDGE
Built in 1929, the heritage value of the ‘4th Avenue Bridge’ (Thunderbird Viaduct) in Moose Jaw lies in its association with Moose Jaw’s development. The most visible heritage value is its architecture which includes ornamentation such as multi-coloured terra cotta tiled light standards, balusters and cameos. From under the bridge through its fluted columns, one can see the Canadian Pacific Railway yards and Downtown Moose Jaw.
